Like a good boy, I checked on all my travel arrangements. I wanted to make sure I could pick up my car @ the "FastBreak" counter, so I called Budget. While on the line, they offered to reduce my 11 day car rental (we're staying in NY for a few days after) by about 50%, down to $368 tax, fees included. Just about the most productive 5 minutes I've spent in the past few months.
Oh, and I also swam 2.4 miles (garmin gave it 2.7, but it's my go-to lake, which is about 630 meters long) this morning, 50 seconds faster than last week. I think every-third-stroke breathing is the ticket for me in this race, no need to breathe more. Then I rode home just for fun on my brand new Specialized Tarmac to test out the disc brakes and Di2 shifting. Kinda cool after seeing all those Tinkoff and Ettixx Quick Step riders on that back the past two weeks.
