Foot Issue
I am about half way through my short course plan at this point. In less than a month I am due to switch over to my IM plan.
While swimming about four weeks ago I pushed off the wall and bottom of foot spasmed. This happens to me all the time...no big deal. Except the foot pain followed me out of the pool when I was done with the swim. Started out as arch pain that was bearable and not too big of a deal. This has since almost completely resolved after 5 days of rest immediately after the event. However, I think I may have altered my gait or shifted how I land on my foot because now when I get back from a run I have what I think is metatarsalgia. I took another 5 days of run rest (and am super careful pushing of the wall when swimming) and it hasn't gone away. Super frustrating!
Any advice/support/experience out there?
