Rain tomoro. What should I do?
This is my first week with EN. I actually did a 4.5 hr EN ride last weekend to see how it felt because I am used to the zone 2 stuff. Anyway, its going to rain tomorrow and I don't ride in the rain SO should I do my interval ride or my ABP ride on the trainer tomorrow. The weather looks ok for getting a ride in on Sunday. Believe it or not, I am ok on the trainer for 4 hours. I have done up to 6. Should I add more intervals in???

6 hours!!!
I would probably do the FTP intervals from the Saturday ride with some 85% (2x15 or 1x30) tacked on at the end and call it the day. The ABP ride would also be preferable to 4.5 hours on the trainer. That's just me though.
You should also post to this thread. It was set up for questions like this and the coaches monitor it..

Where I live, rain is a constant nemesis. 45 minutes or so I can handle, but hours and hours - no way. So I make an art of juggling the training plan days around to make sure I get my long ride in during the most promising spell of possible dry weather. E.g., this week, I did the long ride yesterday, and will do my long run on Sunday, as I can run more esily in rain.
My trainer limit is 2 hours and I rarely go past 1:45. These are hard interval rides on the trainer (no coasting). Do the WU and MS. Round out the remainder at 85% as you wish, but cutting time on one ride should not be the end of your race, whenever it may be.
Not sure what your "A" race is for the year, but I am going to go against the grain here....RIDE in the RAIN! Unless you got a weather guarantee for your race that promises no rain.
I have no additional advise if you are going to be in on the trainer. Keep it under 2 hour and more like 1.5.
Having said that I agree with Bryan unless it's cold and raining I head out because you never know what you will get on race day. I also like to get in at least 2-3 rides in rainy conditions to see how the bike and tires will react. This year I will be looking at switching to new race tires and I absolutely want to see how they are in the rain. Nothing saying you have to go out all the time in the rain but it's good to do every once in a while.
