Anu's macro/micro question

Hi Coaches,

Was not sure where this belonged.

I have Big training day on schedule for this week.  However I found out recently that my local tri group is doing a big training day two weeks later (8/22). They would have a supported OWS and then a bike ride after and a run. Lot of the logistics would be handled.

So my question is would it be okay to swap that around? Also I had an almost three week hole in my training because of being sick, so from that perspective also it made sense to just do a training week this weekend (4 hr ride Saturday, 3 hr Sunday).

Please let me know what you think as far as the upsides or downsides of doing this.

What race and date is this for? I want to see how moving this Big Day another two weeks out impacts that. Thanks.

  • Ah sorry, should have added that

Race is IMLouisville, Date is October 11th.

Ok. Doing this with your club would be fine. Maybe you could do it both times? IE, do it as scheduled and then another time with your club? Not required, just a bonus. Doing it with your club should have a lower mental cost for you.

    Good luck!
