trainingpeaks power graph question

I am a training peaks subscriber. I like the graph that shows max power over different time thresholds 1min, 5 min, 20min 1hr out to 3 hr. My question is: Is there a way to extend this chart beyond 3hrs? I'd like to see the curve out to 6 hrs.

  • The only changes allowed are workout type and date range. Three hours seems to be fixed. WKO 4.0 goes out as far as your longest ride in the range selected. In 2012 I had a 6 hour 45 minute ride and it shows up in the graph.
  • It's frustrating. I think they limit it to 3 hrs to sell you the software. To Tom's point, the new WKO4 will go much longer.
  • I downloaded the 14 day demo of wko4. jeez. that thing will suck out my will to live. but as "self coached" athletes if it can really live up to its promise of helping us prescribe training that is specific to our pysiology then itwill be time and money well spent.
    I can see it waiting till after IMFL for me to really dig into WKO4.
  • If you can download the data, you can get Golden Cheetah for free and get the full graph. GC will more or less do anything that training peaks will do. It's not built up to deal with all the WKO 4 stuff, though. WKO 4 is keeping a lot of its equations private, however, to stop just this sort of thing.
  • thanks william. and again, I am not sure what I would do with wko if I had it. Im not sure that I could turn the data into better training. Right now all I know is that I can't ride as well long as I can short. Meaning I can't ride .85 IF for a 70.3 bike leg or .75 for an IM bike. So I know what I need to work on.

    and I could stand to loose 10lbs.
