Should I add a big bike week?

Coach Rich, it was great to meet at camp last week...thanks for everything. It was a fantastic weekend!

I have a question for the remaining weeks. I have the opportunity to do a big bike in the next couple weeks. Is it advisable to do it now, with race day coming close...or stick to the normal training plan at this point? As an alternative, could I do big bike week but still keep to long run?

Appreciate thoughts.

    Wks 16 and 17 are good opportunities for Big Bike Weekends vs Bike Weeks. Use the schedule for wk15 as a template for how to do this. Basically, you are too close to the race to focus on the bike for a week and sorta drop the run...especially the long run, you need to get that in. So can take the schedule for wk15 and repeat that in either wk16 or 17
