Garmin 510 not synching, constant updates

Is anyone else having trouble with their Garmin 510 wireless synching with their phones? it seems I have to get a hardwire software updte every 2 weeks and re pair with my phone...

    Yes, I am returning mine and getting the 520. Seems like more of the same to me where Garmin is abandoning the earlier models as soon as the new model come out.

    Once I get Garmin devices working with Garmin Connect, I purposely don't do any updates, to anything. That said, my 510 synchs with GC on the first try maybe 30% of the time. I usually have to do some flavor of turn Bluetooth off on the phone, turn it back in, turn the 510 off, on, annoying stuff like that. I should probably just use a USB cable like I did with the 500

    I think Garmin has had some issues as of late. Everyone I talked to at Choo camp who had a 510 could not upload through bluetooth. Apple came out with a new iOS update yesterday and there was a Garmin Connect update, so maybe that has something to do with the issue. Just a guess, but you are not alone in your issues with a 510 this weekend.
