Spondylolisthesis and running pain
I am new to triathlon training. I used to run half marathons 10 years ago, then quit to have 4 kids and an L4-L5 microdiscectomy. They, I did amateur bodybuilding and got to the top of that so now I am taking up triathlon training. I jumped in week 6 of beginner half iron man training and got pretty bad lumbar back pain that took a week of no running at all to resolve. I tried running again and the same thing happened. I went to a physical therapist. He said I have spondylolisthesis with a linstability he can see when I bend forward. My plan is to run slower and do a lot of other training for fitness and do the half ironman in Austin. Does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks!
