LG vorttice helmet?

Just bought a LG vorttice helmet and took the visor off but there's a hard plastic mount for the visor that is stuck on the helmet has anyone taken this off without damaging the helmet? If so how did you do it?

    I figured this out, I used a hair dryer and a pair of pliers warmed up the plastic visor piece a bit and it twisted off, it was held in place by some two sided foam tape, once I got the plastic off I was able to scrape the foam off with my fingers.
