Quiet group this week! Hopefully that means everyone is hard at work after the holiday weekend...

I had good Monday run with some hill repeats - https://www.strava.com/activities/386868380
I missed the Monday swim because the pool was closed :-(
As a result of the missed swim, my Tuesday intervals were strong - https://www.strava.com/activities/387579515
But then the Tuesday swim kicked my ass - https://www.strava.com/activities/388110471

No workout this morning but I'm all queued up for a Wednesday brick tonight!

Hopefully everyone is feeling strong. I expect that for most of us, Saturday is a big brick day. If you have not already done so, take a minute today to work out the logistics for Saturday and let your spouse know you'll be doing swim/bike/run for much of the day.

Monday AM my HRV monitoring said I was down and needed a light day so I skipped the extra run speed session planned and just swam:
75'- the 'rock' got all the way through half of MS4. I have a swim lesson this afternoon and am hoping for some 'ah ha' moments on my stroke. I will report on it later

Tuesday 45' run speed set done-2 x1mi @z4 -1, -4. Tues swim put off til tonite

Wed-up at 4 to try and get bike/run all in
Spin: 55', 1x8', 1x12' @ .99. 2x4'@ only 1.05, 1.0-I just didn't have the awesome power I had last wed. Still not fully recovered from weekend?!
    Time for 20' run @z1.5-z2

Hope everyone is having an awesome training week!

Nothing on the schedule for tonight except sleep and I'm super happy about that.

Friday is morning run and evening prep for big tri day on Saturday.

Hopefully everyone is having a good week. If you're lurking, take the plunge and post something up. I can be anything, we will not bite - ;-)

My morning progressive run done too! 0400 wake up doable as long as I'm horizontal before 10pm night before! Temps mid 80s, overcast with some misting rain. Not too bad.

Swim lesson yesterday with local TI instructor provided another ah
Ha! Moment. We corrected my tendency to cross midline as hand enters the water. Back to my 'TI skate drills'

I will probably do a reverse Tri sat am-run first early, bike then swim. I have a local Olympic Sunday of week 12 and wil get the experience of running a10k in the heat after swim/bike then

    kinda mixed effective week.
    first ride "OK" https://www.strava.com/activities/387396869
Big day was a no go.... swim stopped at 45min due to SLAP shoulder re-hurting image .... and flatted w/o proper spare after 1 hr (did a 2x 30 min Z3+ trainer ride later) and no run
My long run was much harder RPE than should have been ?

    insomnia issues again too....
    Not too happy
