Paul's IM Louiseville Week 18 Micro question

Coach - Week 18 finishes with RR2 on Saturday and a rest day on Sunday.  Would it be crazy to do a olympic triathlon on Saturday, RR2 on Sunday and take the rest day on Monday of Wk 19 instead?   For Week 18, I would leave Thursday's long run alone, cut back on Friday's swim as a 1 day taper, race Saturday and do the hard work Sunday.  Any value in a hard effort or is it just plain silliness from someone who likes to race?
