Organizing Forum Topics More Clearly

It goes without saying that I am a huge EN supporter, downright junkie. But I am losing my way in the forum. If I've been away for a while--like doing my life --I mentally shut down when I see the endless running list of "non-read" posts. Trying to wade through through the topics all becomes a blur. At least for me.

When you click on "not read," Is there any way the threads  could be sorted by the particular Forum they fall under--and differentiated by a bold line between forum topics? Something that, at a glance, would help the brain make sense of all the info presented.

Just a thought.

  • I'd like to see a little check box beside each posting that shows up after clicking "non-read". The check box should say "mark as read" and you should be able to scroll down at high speed checking all the ones you don't want to read. At the bottom there should be an "apply" button to update them all.

I don't want to mark all of them as read, just select ones. That would help me a lot to focus on the ones important to me and have me spending less time trying to filter.
