Techie WSMs - How do I get video/photos off my nano?

I'm not going to lie. Camerawise, I am happiest following the number one rule of camera selection I learned in grad school: must be able to use as a bludgeoning device. But the slr, it doesn't seem very aero.

Is my solution the nano? I have figured out how to take pics and video, but how do I get them off the thing easily? Has anyone figured this out?

Well... just took a look at the link, and it says transferring photos is one way only (from computer to iPod). Seems kinda weird they'd put a camera on the iPod and then not give you a way to get the data off of it.

I know there third party applications that will allow file transfer to-from the iPod. Maybe Google it?
