Allen Lim Article
Not sure when the last time I recommended an article from Bicycling Magazine, but the current June 2010 edition has a great article on Allen Lim.
Allen Lim was the mad scientist behind the Garmin pro team. I didn't realize it, but Lance hired him away this year to become his personal mad scientist.
Anyway, good reading if you like to hear about the crazy people that drive the sporting world forward.

Doesn't appear to be on their website. Looks like they have posted one piece of it though. Lance Armstrong's yoga routine here.
Per Lim, most people "fit the bike to the rider'. His thoughts, "fit the rider to the bike". Work on flexibility, especially hamstrings, glutes and lower back. Flexibility wards off injury and increases power in aerodynamic positions.
The article also has good info on thermoregulation, nutrition, aerodynamics.
Just interesting to see cycling go from a tradition bound, old school mentality to leading edge, quirky science era.
He invented this device most have probably heard about it: PowerTap
He does a lot of speaking encagements around the country. If you get a chance go see him present. Looks of data talk and funny stories from the road.
