2015 or 2016 OutSeason Plan?

Hi coach Rich,

 

On my plan it says to load up Outseason plan to end 1/31.  So I'm wondering is that 2015 Outseason or 2016?

 Also What are the average hours that plan has in it on a given week and where does it peak at?

 A lot of my friends do weights over the winter, will I be doing that as well in this plan?

 If not, Will it matter come race day?

    • Load up the 2016 OutSeason / Run Durability training plan
    • I'm not sure, probably 6-8hrs per week
    • We have included a Core and "Swim Preparation" routine in the OS so please follow that. We've never prescribed a formal weight training plan, ever, within EN and everyone does just fine. Please follow the training plan and we recommend you hold off on doing extra cirricular activities until you get a feel for the work involved on the OS plan.
