Virgnia Beach help

My TOC crushed I am in Virginia Beach for a couple weeks.  I'm at Oceana NAB for work and am looking for a pool.  The base pool is only open 1100-1200 so is a bit limited. I am staying at Town Center so anyone know a good local pool to swim in the early morning?  How about a place to bike that has some descent fitting bikes vice the hotel trash? 

Any help is great!  I see Joel and one other in the local area.

     Greg- PM Ralph Butler- I just ran into him at the airport coincidentally!  He's on his way to a conference but I'm sure he'd give you a lead.  He is more of a lurker than a poster, so PMing him may be the best way to grab him

    Greg - you can head over to Dam Neck NB. There is a pool there (in the rec center) and if I remember right there is at least one lap lane always in place.

    Greg - You're in my 'hood. I live here in VB and work right near Town Center. The best pools are the VB Rec Center pools- there are several near you (Bow Creek is closest to Town Center, Princess Anne is down near Oceana). Not sure of the daily fee- residents get to use any of the 10 or so great rec centers for $65 per year. Always an open swim lane.

    For a bike, I think Conte's (one on Laskin Rd near the beach, one at Red Mill Commons a little south of Oceana) is your best bet. Not a tri store but I think they might be able to set you up. Only tri store is Final Kick on Great Neck Rd (about 15 minutes from Town Center). Great tri shop but not sure they have bikes to use.

    Good rides down near Oceana (look up London Bridge Rd/Dam Neck Rd) for a nice off street asphalt path for about a 6 mile loop.
