Had several questions regarding the plan:

Testing for zones- I typically use the 20 minute power test in Trainer Road for my bike FTP, assume it's okay just to use that in this plan.  On the run, I use the Joe Friel Method, 30 minutes, record last 20.  Anything wrong with just using those test results.

Run Mileage- I've been running 30+ miles a week for several months now, including longer runs of 14, 15 (none over 15) should I go ahead and cut mileage for the plan I'm in?

Bike workouts- I've really been trying to hit the bike hard this winter, as that is my weak point.  If I feel fully recovered, is there any reason to not be doing more biking?

Thank you!

We have / had tests scheduled for you in your trial week, the first week of the OS, and at several places in all of the training plans. It's important that we are speaking the same training zone language. Bike test info is here, run test info here. That said, it's likely that your FTP and run zones are correct but, again, it's important that we are speaking the same language especially when we get much closer to races.

Run Mileage- I've been running 30+ miles a week for several months now, including longer runs of 14, 15 (none over 15) should I go ahead and cut mileage for the plan I'm in? Recommend you take our plan for a spin, as is, and see how it shakes out, then have a conversation with Patrick in the Micro Forum about adding mileage to it.

Bike workouts- I've really been trying to hit the bike hard this winter, as that is my weak point.  If I feel fully recovered, is there any reason to not be doing more biking? Fine to add time to the Saturday ride and I believe I may have some optional guidance in there. No need to add time to the weekday workouts. In general, this time of year I'd rather you focus on riding very hard vs far.

    Thank you!
