Simple Question

Does the time indicated on the training plan for a particular day include warm up time if the warm up is not listed for that day (meaning you would just do the standard bike/run warm up)?

Comments

  • Under most circumstances the warm up is included in that total time. Generally I do the standard bike/run warm up whether it's listed or not. The warm ups can vary from person to person though and I'm sure there are some modified warm ups that others are doing.
  • And keep in mind, those time recommendations are just that, recommendations. Coaches RnP are awesome guys and phenomenal triathletes and coaches. But their "fuzzy" math skills are infamous to the team. And the numbers just don't add up on occasion. The important thing is to get in the recommended sets and do what warm up/cool down you need.
  • Thanks! This was helpful.

  • Thank you for this question!

    "Fuzzy" math skills……lmao!!!
