Hi Coach Patrick,

quick one - looking at the 2x15' at zone 4 intervals on the Tuesday workout: if I can hold the power & form on the bike, is it ok to make this a constant 30' interval (maybe even trying to -ve split it: going from mid zone4 for the first half to upper zone 4 for the 2nd half - riding with power, so can track my effort ok)

  • Angus, sure that's fine. We only care that you get 30 minutes of total work. The only pushback I would have is if during the 15 minutes you could hold 10% more than you can hold during the continuous interval. If that's the case, I'd rather have you do the split interval because I'm greedy like that. :-)
