2016 OS Core Week 8- TEST WEEK! Keep it STRONG!
OK....ITS HERE! ITS HERE!! TEST WEEK!
Good news- no test for core!!
But we do need to keep the momentum going! Since we are testing the bike and run this week- keep in mind that the core/strength work you do shouldn't make you sore. The last thing you want are sore muscles as you try to run and bike your heart out! All the posts are awesome! The holidays can get overwhelming with all the "extras" we have going. But know that posting or not we are all sending mojo to each other as we get this work DONE.
This week change anther plank just slightly.....YAY!!!! http://members.endurancenation.us/R...on+Routine
Getting this work done does take extra motivation. Its usually the first to go- (I am guilty of this!)
Here are a few motivational clips I play during core to motivate me. What motivates you??

Laura, thanks for putting this out there. I missed Friday and started off the day by sending my wife Virginia out on her run and me heading to the shower, blowing off the core work. Your note made me think that I should not blow off the core work so I got it done. I must admit that the leg lift planks have really put a dent in my times. I'm sure that will improve.
Thanks for the motivation Laura! The planks are much harder with the leg lift and I messed upon the side plank by not reading the plan correctly. I just did side planks like usual! Oh well...I'll get it right on Friday!
I missed both workouts last week, but back on it this week. I agree those one legged planks are &^%$
The planks are getting better, I m able to do more good form ones and fewer with knee on the ground.
