Coach Rich,

Thanks for the 2016 plan! I am curious, did you select the balanced marathon plan as the best plan for my goals or did it land in the plan as that was my "current" plan?  I ask because I was browsing the wide array of EN plans and that was the last one selected. :-)

I'd like to add some updates to my 2016 plan too. While not a race, I'm planning to be in France the third week of July to watch the Tour de France and ride. Thus, I'm worried about keeping up on my bike miles and getting regular hills into the routine. On that theme, are there any resources you can recommend for training for hills. Not riding hills during an IM (great article, though), but training for climbs!!!!

And I should sign up for the Monday swim workouts, as that's where I need the most help in triathlon.

Thanks,

Karissa

    Coach Rich,

Thanks for the 2016 plan! Not riding hills during an IM (great article, though), but training for climbs!!!! You really need any "special" training. Just follow the training plans, get light, get strong, and put lots of gears (ie, bigger cassette) on your bike and you'll be fine.

    Thanks,
