2016 OS Core Week 11- It's the year of the abs :-)


Hello NOS teammates!! Hope you all had a great week and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2016 is going to be AMAZING!! SO lets keep that going with our core work.  This week Coach R is introducing exercises to target the lower back.  He mentions that it is a very good idea to work in 5-10' of stretching at the end of this routine.

  • Monday core work done. All the numbers improved, albeit slightly. And the Christmas/New year weight gain seems to be settling back down. The new bridges and superman work was a good reminder of yoga. Also I saw the recommendation to add stretching -- highly recommended team, especially if you are up in years like I am. I'm sold on the Yoga Studio app for iPhone and iPad. They have pre-set workouts for beginner, intermediate and advance practice, with varying set lengths and focus points of each workout (strength, flexibility, combo, etc.). They even have workouts for runners which are a go to routine for me after running or even the bike. Highly recommended.
