SOCAL athletes - recommend a century ride for me

I'm looking to add a challenging SOCAL century/gran fondo ride to my long term calendar.  Looking for a springtime event (March-April) that is the must do ride for the area, preferably with significant heritage (XXth annual), well-supplied SAG stops, lots of riders, and great food and beer at the end.  So what are the best ones to consider?   Thanks!

Dino and I, and probably others, will do Mullholland Challenge. Not only will you get over 100mi but you'll also get well over 10k of gain.

Coach - that one looks spectacular. I'm thinking of Spring 2017 but will have IMTX on 22 April. If Mullholland Challenge were 2 weeks early in advance would that be too close to use as the final RR and then taper in? Another option might be Gran Fondo Las Vegas which is more likely to fall 3 wks earlier.

Look at "Breathless Agony" and the "Heart Break 100". These plus the Mulholland Challenge make of the SoCal King of the Mountain series.

Another one is the Belgian Waffle ride in North San Diego county.
