Bike and Run Tests in 2 successive weeks!

Hi Guys, I'm getting slightly ahead of myself here but I'm due to switch plans from the Beginner 2016 Outseason/Run Durability plan on 1 February - moving from Week 14 (OS) to Week 12 of the Beginner Short Course plan (ending on 3 April) as I have an Olympic Distance Duathlon to do on that day (3 April).

Turns out that both Week 14 of the OS plan and Week 12 of the SC plan ask for Bike and Run tests!

I guess its just a fluke but any suggestions how best to fix this?

    Hey Gordon,

    No need to test in wk12 of the SC plan if you do indeed test in wk14 of the OS plan. Sorry, with so many plans, it's often difficult to keep track, when I assign plans, of what weeks in what plans include tests. Thanks.

  • Gordon, Coach P here...there should be "Alternative" workouts to the tests for that week, and you can do those. If not, then yes to Week 13, but you might have to "Repeat" it so you remain on track with the exit date and your race!
