Those of you with backordered gear items, purchased through Trisports, will be receiving this email shortly. I'm posting it here also so we can answers any additional questions you have:

Dear Endurance Nation Athlete,

Thanks for purchasing an Endurance Nation uniform item. Below is a summer of the status of our backordered items:

EN Hats, Visors, Cotton, Tech T’s, Water Bottles, and Four Keys DVDs

These items have begun to ship out to you and are available in the Store now for purchase and immediate shipping. We apologize for the delay, but we experienced a quality issues that demanded the reprint of our entire order of shirts, adding about 4-6wks to the production process. However, the issues has been fixed and items are in stock now for your ordering!

EN Triathlon Singlets, by Louis Garneau

We expect to receive the tri tops from LG at the end of February and they will ship out to you right away.

EN Cycling Kit, by Capo

Our order from Capo is expected to ship from Italy in mid-March and therefore will likely shipped to you in the 3rd or 4th week of March. 

Finally, note that we will ship items to you as they become available. That is, if you ordered triathlon and cycling items, they will ship to you separately when they arrive at Trisports, at EN’s cost, vs you waiting for your complete order to arrive.

    Rich - Is there a way to still order items? When I click on the link to purchase (from your December post), it takes me there and I can see all the items. I go to order the short sleeve cycling top and it states "not available online". Am I doing something wrong?

    That's correct. I've turned off ordering of these items. When the stuff from LG and Capo arrives:

    • Items will be shipped to the people who ordered in December, when ordering was open.
    • These items will be reopened for ordering...
    • These orders will be satisfied from the small inventory of cycling items that I ordered when placing this most recent Capo order. 

    The lessons here are:

    • While going forward we will maintain an inventory of triathlon tops in all sizes, PLEASE order your triathlon stuff well, well, well in advance of your race. The nature of this specialized apparel is that no matter what I do, from the time I start talking to LG about an order until when I get it in your hands is a minimum of 8wks, or even longer in season. So, for example, if we ran out of women's medium tri tops in early June and I placed a re-order in mid June (assuming I could meet the minimum order quantities with other sizes, etc), I can't get those to you until mid-late August. It's maddening but it's the nature of the beast. 
    • Cycling kit is another story altogether. This stuff is expensive to maintain an inventory of sizes, Capo takes even longer to produce kit, and you guys simply don't buy it in big chunks of the year. As such (1) buy it when we tell you to do so and (2) don't expect it to be available if you don't buy it during these ordering windows.

    Thanks - I had the same question as Dawn. December came and went with the holiday flurry. Before I knew it, I couldn't order anymore.

    Update: triathlon tops from LG will be shipping to LG either today or tomorrow and likely begin going out from TS by the end of next week. Shortly thereafter I'll reopen ordering of triathlon tops so those who missed this order can order theirs from the inventory we established. Then, going forward, we intend to always maintain good stocking of all triathlon top sizes.

    Coach Rich - per your message some items will be reopened for odering once the LG/Capo items arrive from the December order. Will we have the option/ability to order the jacket? 

    Living in DXB I didn't think I would need the cycling jacket but it gets quite chilly here in the am during morning rides. (Would you believe I have to ride with foot warmers because its so cold)!!!! Plus for this last order window I purchased both the EN cycling kit & m-2 skin suit. At the time of the order I was concerned with being over my budgeted spend anyway..... but now I want that Jacket!!! (and would be happy to wait till next year if that is necessary image

    Coach Rich - I am a new member and would love to purchase an EN Tri Top.  Any update on when I can place an order?  I'm not in any huge rush - next race is not until June.

    Concerning your comment below, please note I have instructed Tri Sports to not ship my order (cycling kit and M2 tri suit) until all items have been received. Given the excessive cost of shipping overseas, there is no reason to spend that additional money. I am more than happy to wait.

    I missed the window last year (yep lesson learned...) so I am hoping there is still a way to get an XL bike top in time for IMTX this year. If not, I will be in non-EN gear which will be a shame.

    So... reaching out if anyone knows a way I can buy/beg an XL EN mens bike top - please shout!

    Team, here's another update for you:

    • All of the backordered tri tops from Louis Garneau have shipped and I've turned these items back on in the store for orders.
    • Cycling kit items will ship from Italy this week and probably begin to be shipped by Trisports next week. 
    • Once ^this^ shipping of cycling kit is complete, I'll open these items up for ordering you can purchase any cycling kit that we have in stock.
    • The LG one-piece order will ship to Trisports on about 3/28 and begin going out to everyone shortly thereafter. 
    • Finally, note that we're now offering stickers for your car and bike in the store!

    Yep. Cycling kit, including jackets, is by Capo in Italy.

    Update: Capo cycling kit has arrived at Trisports and should begin to ship out to you shortly. If you were waiting on a triathlon top to ship with your cycling kit, this will also ship together at the same time. 

    Personally...this kit can't come soon enough. My existing EN kit has several thousand miles on it and is starting to finally fall apart!

    Are all of the visors one size, Small? I feel like it is squeezing my brain out of my ears. If anybody wants a practically new en visor, worn 2x. PM me, all you have to do is pay for shipping.

    I believe Coach Rich gas stated in the past that we are all very particular about our tri shorts/tri bibs. It becomes increasingly difficult to satisfy a majority with a certain brand/style. At least that's what I remember. I know we had tri shorts a few years ago though.

    I don't believe we ordered any extra jackets. So while you can return your jacket to TS, I can't guarantee that they'll have you desired size in stock with which to make an exchange. So it may be best to work an exchange in this thread or in the classifieds?

    As David said above, as primarily a long course triathlon team, our athletes have been VERY particular with tri shorts, scrutinizing chamois thickness, compression, coverage, etc. As such, we've historically lost out big $$$ when we've tried to fire up tri shorts so we now encourage you to source you own solution that best suits your needs for the training and racing you do.
