20 week IM plan

I goofed and posted this in macro....Hi Rich ! Hope all is well, back on the EN train...
I've got the 20 week plan loaded and have a quick question. My typical week this year will only allow running on Wed and Thurs, otherwise my weeks are wide open. How do you suggest I tweak a typical week ?

  • Bill, I love that your forum signature has 2011 races in it!!! image Great to have you back...if running on Wed / Thurs is your only shot for full run workout, then your Thursday is the long run (Thursday already) and Wed is your FTP run from Tuesday.

    So the week would be:

    Mon - Swim Only
    Tues - FTP Bike (from Wed) + Swim
    Wed - FTP Run.
    Thu - Long run(s).
    Fri - Swim only.
    Sat - As planned.
    Sun - As planned.

    Of course, I am hoping you can brick on Sat/Sun...is that an option?
