Simona Shurey - Ultraman Florida UPDATES
Hi Team, our crazy team mate Simon Shurey, otherwise know as the English Beast, is racing Ultraman Florida his weekend. Day 1 is today. He has asked me to update you on a daily basis.
Here is what I know so far.
He made it out the water safely with an official time of 5:09. He was hoping for 4-4:30, but the winds picked up in the last quarter of the swim slowing him down a bit. He sped through transition on his way to the bike leg. He had a flat within the first 10 miles and his crew had it changed so quickly he had no time to get food in 
. Last I heard, he has completed 35miles in 2hr5min and is halfway through the bike leg with some strong winds. Thats it for now folks.
Lets send him all our mojo's on his big adventure.

Day 2 is done. After day one he was 30th. He finished 9th on the bike today. Overall a good day. Got warm at 77 and at Mile 108 - flat tire, NASCAR pit stop, back on the road. Tomorrow is the 52+ mile run.
