IMLP 2016 - official training starts today!
Unfortunately I haven't had time to take advantage of the outseason training plan and vast resources available at EN but today is 20 weeks out from my A race (IMLP) so I need to plug in and get busy. Not new to long distance racing but took a year off to become a yogi and work on my core strength. I'm lean and ready to take my game to the next level. Nursing a bruised rib injury from skiing - about 75% recovered.
I have put a number of half marathons in my schedule and the Black Bear half but they are all being treated as training events for Lake Placid in my mind. My two full finish times were just under 15 at Lake Placid in 2012 and around 14 in 2014 at Challenge Atlantic City. I'm in a much better place physically, mentally and emotionally so I want my training to set me up for a sub 12 this year at Lake Placid.
I have loaded the advanced plan but I'm not sure if that's all it takes to get going. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you

Thank you Coach
I tend to put a lot on my plate as a way of keeping the pressure on - here is my calendar leading up to Lake Placid
March 6th - E. Murray Todd Half Marathon
April 3rd - Indian Trails 15K
April 17th - Rutgers Half Marathon
April 30th - North Face Endurance Challenge - Bear Mountain Half Marathon
May 15th - Black Bear Half Ironman
July 24th - Lake Placid Ironman
I really appreciate the help. I'm very impressed with everything I've seen from EN but have yet to take advantage of anything, including simply reviewing your welcome emails and videos. I'm eager to learn and willing to put in the work.
Show me the way!
Really appreciate the support
I haven't taken advantage of anything for months and was losing faith that this might work for me but I've decided to hang in there a little longer and start using these tools. Coach Rich is putting my plan together now and then I probably will circle back to you guys with questions on how to maximize these vast resources as I get busy training for Lake Placid!
Like you, I'm in this for the long haul so it makes sense to stick with EN rather than keep searching for the right coach or right group
Hope to see you guys soon
Best,
