Hey Coach!

Just a quick question on the get faster plan , and about swapping days over.

I really got used to the Outseason plan of Tues/Bike Wed/Run Thursday/Bike Friday/Run Saturday/Bike Sunday/Run

(Bike/Run/Bike/Run....)

 

I see in the get faster plan, there are double bikes on the weekend, so my question is, would it be of great impact if i was to swap my Sunday and Thursday round? Essentially, i would be the harder run on the Sunday, and the Short(ish) bike on the Thursday. Trying to split the week up, and trying to not too much time on the saddle on the weekend (keeping the wife happy).

  • GD, that totally works. It might feel a little rough on the Monday, so either try to run early on Sunday or plan on making Monday a lighter day (in terms of effort, etc). Gotta keep the Spousal Approval Units high!!! image
