Just realized that I am starting in week 14 of the SC plan. Do I need to worry about bike, run and swim testing? Can I just plug in the #'s I have already for my zones? I had a blood lactate testing for the bike a year ago. Can I plug those #'s in for now? What about HR zones for run? I have #'s I have previously trained by. Is that good enough to use for now?
Steve, given your tight timeline I recommend you use your former zones...or a close approximation to them...until you can test. You can do the official testing after your race on 5/1 as part of your Get Faster start program.
