Derrek's Macro

Hey Coach Rich,

I'm planning to do the Major Taylor Mountain Summit April 20-24, which is 3-4 days of rides in the mountains (see below).  I'll be in week 14 of HIM plan that week.  Are there any adjustments to the plan I should make other than carving out 2-3 days of recovery before jumping back in the HIM training?  I'm thinking this will provide a nice fitness/TSS boost going into Quassy.  Thanks!

Thurs: 62 miles; 5,750 ft of climbing

Friday: 50 miles; 3,200 ft of climbing

Saturday: 45 miles; 4,500 ft climbing

Sunday: 25 miles

    Hey Derreck,

Around here we call those rides Thurs, Friday and Saturday . Seriously though, you'll be fine and likely won't need any special accommodations after the weekend. You'll be good to go on Monday, I'm pretty sure. Good luck!
