Noemi's plan

Hi I am finally been able to look in detail my plan,and I notice that you got me on beginner's plan for the short course and the ironman is a specific reason for that?

the short course is it for heartland triathlon? but i would like to start ironman training before that? i guess put the races as B & C but really I dont care too much about the time on those races iz just practice the really important is IRonman for me , I want to get faster in the bike and run

    Hi Noemi,

    I'm having you do weeks 8-20 of the Short Course plan before transitioning over to week 7 of the IM plan and following that to IMChattanooga. When you complete wk20 of the Short Course plan, your fitness will be a good fit for week 7 of the IM plan. More importantly...you simply do NOT want your head in an "I'm training for an Ironman" space for more than about 12wks. Trust on this one. You're much better off training and thinking like a short course for many weeks, all the while absolutely building your Ironman fitness, without putting your head in that space until it needs to be there.
