2016 Jan OS Week 13!!Core/comp - one stomach flu away

Home stretch!!! Last night had symptoms of stomach flu and all I could think of was the line from devil wear prada - one stomach flu away from goal,weight! So after 13 weeks I am down a couple of pounds.. And closer to that goal weight :-)

Leslie had good results last week!
Tim and I are both getting on the band wagon of losing.

I am finally logging my food - it only took 12 weeks for me to get here! Eating plenty of protein!

  • Well Ann here we are standing alone 14 weeks and done with the OS. I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU for leading our small group of bandits. For some reason everyone has good intentions to get stronger core wise but they all fall off the wagon sooner or later. For me I put a lot of importance on core/flexibility as I get deeper in this sport. It seems to keep me from my chronic injuries that rear there head every once in awhile. In all statistically speaking weight start wt164 now 157. So a good loss of 1/2 lb a week. My run and bike form are staying together longer. Hopefully will help in my longer workouts. I really notice it in my running, I am really focused on keeping my carriage upright and straighter. This seems to help by not overloading my hamstrings. So TY you again Ann and see you in the forms as they say !
  • I'm still here! I've been traveling, so I haven't logged lately. It's in my phone though and I had planned to upload probably Tuesday. Have a work dinner tomorrow. Seems I lost about six pounds and then with all the travel managed to not gain. For me- that's a win! I usually gain a pound or two when I am gone for a week- so yay me!!! And I'm inspired to keep doing me core and push ups twice a week- just two sets though.
  • Thanks so much Ann! Each week you motivated me to get moving, but I'm one of the ones who fell off the wagon! I've enjoyed reading the posts and hopefully Steve and Leslie and others will motivate me to keep up with the core work, etc. I'm really really gonna try:-)
