I'll be the first to post... My name is Peter carroll, I've been with EN since 2010. I took a 14 month break from doing any training. HUGE mistake as far as trying to get back into shape, but it was good for my family. I'm trying to force myself into shape for this race which has been difficult. I've done this race 2 or 3 time before. its a great race although the sun can be hot on the run. I think i'm going to try to go for the wide brimmed hat this year to keep more of the sun off of me. I'll probably also find something to cover up my shoulders (that will absorb water) so I can keep cooler. I look forward to hear how all of your training is going!
