  • Would like to know about nutrition the few days before your race as well.

    Thoughts on real food during race versus gels/liquid nutrition.

  • Coach - have had no GI issues in training or in race rehearsals. On race day, when the time is lengthened, I get nauseous and/or bloated on the 2nd half of run. Any advice?
  • Curious about your thoughts trying to acclimate to using gatorade endurance in long workouts since that's what offered on course vs just planning to carry my own drink mixes on race day. Not sure I would choose gatorade, preferring more natural foods all other things being equal, so interested in your comments there. Do people usually do well with it or are GI effects common?
