Advice for pulled calf muscle.
Hello Coach Rich, I am on the intermediate IM plan for Boulder on Aug 7th. A few weeks ago I pulled my calf and then re-pulled it again 10 days ago, I can't run 100 yards yet without it feeling like it's going to pull again, so I stop and walk back home. It doesn't hurt anymore to massage so I'm doing that plus Tiger Balm. Can you give me advise on best course of action. It feels fine to ride so can I do the Bike Focus plan until I can start running again? Thank you.

Hey Greg,
You're doing the right thing, modifying your plan to fit your injury. I recommend you stay in the IM plan and (1) add a 4th bike and (2) add any swimming you can, if that works with your schedule.
