Thanks for this information. Would you say it is probably best to round-down? I'm currently wearing the Pearl Izumi Tri-Flys and they are 44.5.

Too bad they don't have "Man" sizes... I'd love a pair of these (but I wear a 47 or 48).

Joe, older Trivent Expert's run true to size. In the past I believed bike shoes should be a little snug, but I've personally come around on that. For IM distance, I think a tiny bit of room for your feet to breathe and not go numb is likely better, so I'd go to the 45 If it was me.
