Josh's TSR

Hey Coach. I was looking over my plan again and noticed a conflict in the dates. My TSR says to start the get faster plan on 6/6 and set it to end on 8/14. The spreed sheet obviously shows it ending on 7/3, which i then switch to the full plan on 7/4-9/25. just wanted to nail this down.

That's correct. Our plan system backfills your plan into your account, having you set the end date. So if you follow the instructions I laid out for you in your TSR, you'll end up doing the specific weeks of the plans that I want you to do. Good luck!

  • Coach Rich, I was looking ahead and was wondering what i should do replace the southeast race execution camp since i cant be there? big bike week or weekend>
  • If you look at the plan you'll see we have big weekends scheduled in wks15 and 18. So you can simply follow the plan as is or duplicate wk15 elsewhere if it makes sense to do so
  • Coach Rich,

Thanks for my TSR. While thinking about which 70.3 i wanted to do I had another option. Would it benefit me more to take that thursday-sunday I would dedicate to the race and do 4 days of bike focus? Is it too early or increase burnout to do so? I know it would help me keep my running game in check by scheduling the 70.3 and I obviously enjoy racing. Is it just healthy to do an early HIM to test my OS work? What do you think? Just trying to better utilize money, time, etc. Im also using power for the first time this OS, does that effect anything?

Racing that early June HIM would be a good OS accountability tool for you, especially for the run, and would be valuable in splitting your season into 2 halves. The first focused on this race, the second on whatever else you have planned for later in the year.

Power in the OS: yes...prepare to work very, very hard and to not be able to hide :-)

  • Coach Rich,
Update for my TSR. I decided on Raleigh 70.3 June 4th for my first race.

Sounds good. Please submit that to me via the TSR page above, as that's where I look for those sorts of changes and ensures we capture everything I need to do this for you. Thanks!
