Neoprene of Lava pants stuck together

After my pool swim on Friday, I threw my lava pants in the back of my car and the neoprene is now stuck to itself over 90% of the pants.  When I try to separate it the outer coating is coming off.  Anyone know any ways of fixing this problem.  I have never had any other wetsuit material do this. thanks for any and all help.

Weird. I use Lava pants 3x a week, and wash them in a machine, gentle, cold/cold once a month, with Tide, si I know that's safe. If this happened to me - it never has - that's what I would try. Can't hurt?
