Hey Coach Rich I hope you are well.
My schedule has changed and I was hoping I could provide an updated roadmap when it is convenient for you. I also wanted to address the fact that my previous TSR did not start with an OS. Given my location in the sandbox, this is the beginning of my offseason (read as your winter) training. I am not sure I made that clear in my TSR write up. My racing season is essentially October - May.
Changes:
- IM 70.3 Bahrain is off
- IM 70.3 Dubai is on 27 January as my top priority race
- I would like to delay the start of my training till 26 June. Reason being I am increasing my running endurance to prepare for the OS in a natural way.
Making an uneducated effort to throw on my coaching hat, I was thinking something akin to the following. Please note I will have a handful of Olympic Triathlons between the end of my (proposed) OS and IM 70.3 DXB.
- 26 June start OS (14 weeks)
- 25 Sept start Swim Camp (2 weeks)
- 9 Oct start some flavor cycling focus (5 weeks)
- 13 Nov start RP ending 27 January with IM 70.3 DXB

Hey David,
Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I think that schedule looks good, though you may want to do the Get Faster plan rather than the Bike Focus plan in that 5 week block, depending on how you feel about your bike and run fitness at that time. The GF plan is our standard go-to solution after the OS. Good luck!
Thank you for the reply coach. I will check in with you towards the end of the OS to see which direction to go from there.
