Midwest kids triathlons
I just wanted to make anyone who isn't already aware of the new RipRoar kids' triathlon series in the midwest. It's run by Michael Zimmerman, who is my favorite race announcer of all time (Sorry Mike R...) He makes everything super fun and low pressure for the kids, while still encouraging competition for the kids who are up for that. The race age is 6-15.

This year, one of the features is that all first timers get a race mentor who will be in touch with them before the race to talk it through etc. My daughter Olivia is helping out with that. (It's a volunteer gig.)
For those of you who know my family history, I can just say that Michael was totally there for us and has become an important friend.
