I have been running in VFFs for the past 4 years and I love them. However, the new version has ripped a nice hole in the arch of my foot. I'm trying to decide whether I just bought a bad pair or if I should move on to other running shoes. Has anyone else had problems with the latest version of the evo? Can someone recommend recommend a zero drop, minimal cushion shoe?

I can't speak to VFFs as I have not used them in a long time, but I am a firm believer in Altra shoes. I personally love the Torin, but if you are looking for minimal, the best they offer is the One 2.5 I believe. I know a few folks who race in them and like them. Worth a look I would say.
