2016 70.3 Muncie Race Day Thread

Hi Team, are you ready to give your teammates some serious mojo for this coming weekend? This thread is to be used on race day to comment on race conditions, observations on how our team are doing during there races, or just to provide some mojo on race day.  Listed below are the members that are racing and a link to the IM Tracker.  I have a funny feeling these folks are going to get us our 2nd podium finish in the Triclub competition. Go team!!! Weather is looking surprisingly good for Saturday. Wind will be a factor though - last check was 16 mph from WNW.

Got to love the unpredictability of Indiana weather. A few days ago the Saturday high temp was mid 90's and now it's forecast to in the high 70's. It's going to be a great day to race. I'll take the wind over the heat any day. Stay low in the aero into the wind and up a little bit with the wind at your back.

With the predicted wind direction, the outbound section of US-35 will be super fast. The return leg will be right into the wind.

RE: The wind... At the pre-race talk in a short course I did earlier this year, they advised "you've all got the same wind" . I wound up with my best placement ever on the bike in that race, so maybe wind is an advantage when it psychs other people out. ;-)
