Any hints/pointers/inside scoop.  And yes, I know it's 5 weeks away.  It's a B/C race for me so back off! image

All hotels, AirBNB, VRBO, etc seem to be booked.  I'm sure there will be last minute openings as there are at most races but any help is appreciated.

    Hello Jeremy, we registered late for the race last year and had the same issue unfortunately. We ended up staying in south bend...believe it was the stay bridge suites. Rooms were reasonable, and you are right near the highway to get to the race. It's unfortunately ~30 miles away so a bit of a trek. No traffic and easy ride however if you cannot get anything closer.

    We planned a bit ahead and are staying at the best western in Benton harbor which is of course full now. You could always try closer to the event and check cancellations.

    I booked a hotel in St. Joe about a month out last year. Dumb question,but did you try hotels.com or a similar site? Also, try New Buffalo or South Haven? It's about 25 minutes due south/north and beats South Bend.

    Great race and great area. BTW, st Joe is nice, Benton harbor is so so

    Chris, would agree with your comments on location...Benton harbor so so...south bend is similar. We didn't really find anywhere "nice"...but we're not in town long enough to mind.

    ^^^ what they said. Just keep dialing. I did lodging duty for our larger group a couple years ago and we ended up staying 25' north of the race site. Not uncommon. Just kind of a pain. Good luck Jeremy!
