Starting next Sunday night I will post the weekly forum with the training dates, some mojo, advice, admin notices and general EN awesomeness. Whether you're a veteran EN member or newbie, this is the magic of training with the team. We will keep each other motivated, have a place to talk about our daily training ups and downs, get questions answered, answer fellow teammates questions and make some friends along the way. The more everyone participates the more everyone will crush this race the Endurance Nation way!
Introducing yourself- let us know where you are from? Is this your first IM? Anything you wanna share about yourself. Because WE ARE A TEAM and we want to support each other the best we can.
If you have any questions about race weekend, Endurance Nation, whatever it is------I your trusty Race Captain extraordinaire will be here to answer any and all you can throw at me- just send me a message or post it here!!
I'm sure I have left some things out but no need to worry, we have plenty of time to IRON (see what I did there) all that out before race week.
On your mark.... get set.... GO!

Hi All - IMLOU will be (hopefully) IM #8 for me and my 2nd IMLOU. Like Ed, I am also doing IMWI this year. I did WI and LOU last year too. Look forward to meeting you all! Good training!
A few weeks ago (another thread to just a few folks), I threw out the idea of a recon weekend. I, obviously, have never been out on the bike or run course. If memory serves, a few were interested. I think I could swing the weekend of Aug 20-21, Aug 26-27, Sept. 17-18, or Sept. 24-25. Anyone possibly interested? Also, if anyone on the way from Michigan to Louisville, happy to carpool.
This is my first IM! I've been with EN for about three years - racing most short course. I've wanted to do an IM for a long time and signed up for a couple of different reasons - one being that my friend Heather was killed on a training ride 4 years ago 7/29 by two drunk drivers - on a Sunday morning, and IM was on her 5 year list, and second, as I enter the last half of my 4th decade, it's time to carpe diem!
My training challenge will be that I have OA in my right knee and that will preclude me from doing any long runs on the road. Coach P and I have come up with a plan modification of anything before or after the bike is on the road and everything else gets dumped into a pool run.
I am so excited to be a part of such a stellar group of athletes!!
Cheers,
Beth
Kyle: I'm in for a recon weekend - the last weekend in August seems to fit into the EN training schedule - keep me posted on the plans
I'm actually headed to L'ville the 18th-20th for a bachelor party of all things. Not sure how much training I'll be able to squeeze in...planning on running the course and possibly bike a loop or two I will. Most of my time there will be spent on the bourbon trail which I don't think is near the bike course.
