Patricia, that language in the second bike workout is wrong...I am off to fix it. This weekend represents the last chance to go long on the bike...if you can. If not, no worries. Sounds like you'll have your hands full!!
Thank you coach!!!!! I can get most of this done but I was thinking I must be a wimp! last weekend was tough...although I should be acclimated for a hot run... 103 degree heat index. I hope you are well and getting better and I apologize for whining ??
BTW, can you pull any of my work up on Strava? my indoor workouts on the bike/computrainer won't be there as they are on Training peaks using my polar HRM... I love the long ride! it is helping me tweak my cleat position and gearing... last weekend did 49.97 and stopped for lunch and then did 47.79 before my toes started to burn and go numb. Did a bunch of fun climbing on the first half and hot and flat on the second half until the end... getting out of the saddle at the very end was nice... the long flats tend to hurt the feet due to no change in position. my last run of 3 hours was very hot! all the convenience stores thankfully know me and some have "beer caves" I can hang out in... Done. Some great work in there. Given you are getting so close to vineman, I think it's time to dial the rides into steady (.7), learn the HR numbers and and work on your nutrition. With that heat you are officially ready for a tough weather day!!!!
