J Hay - IMMD Prep-Training

I am prepping/training for IMMD on Oct 2.  I did Rev3 Williamsburg as my half two weeks ago, and all went well.  I am utilizing the minimalist beginner IM training program (is that what I should be using?). My questions.

Most important is I am going on a family vacation to Europe from July 30 - Aug 7th and will be relegated to poor hotel gyms.  Will not have any access to a pool.  I can probably squeeze in a big work out day on July 28th.   What should I do?

A few more questions.

For my swims, I participate in a Masters Swim, can I use that for the swim workouts? For the mid-week bike works outs, they generally look like mostly interval training. I like the Sufferfest videos, and find they motivate me to work harder. Can I substitute one of their video work-outs with a similar work-out/time frame for those work outs in my training plan? Also, any thoughts about trail running for training? Not a clean surface but what a work out. Finally, my bike is my weakest discipline.  Any additional suggestions on how to get better?
