Hi Coach! This is a good problem to have...the opportunity has presented itself such that I have Thursday afternoon - sunday afternoon completely off, without kids, in a great location to train. My A race is IMCHOO on Sept 25th so quite a long way off. How would you suggest I best plan my upcoming training weekend? I was thinking a century ride Friday (maybe a short brick after), a metric century ride Saturday with a 1 hour run after, and a long run sunday. thanks in advance!

At eight weeks out, it's all about the bike...so your plan looks great. I'd do a race effort century...but the metric century should just be steady / for time and similar with the Sunday. Run, we don't want to go so hard that we set you back for the rest of the next week.
And please remember to fuel and drink like a champ...it matters and doing so properly on Fri / Sat will make sure that you have a decent run!
