  • Hello fellow EN teammates in the inaugural Ohio 70.3.  I live near Kings Island (just northeast of Cincinnati if you're not from around here).  I've been a member of EN since 2013 and this is my first race this season.  I've just moved up to the 65-69 AG.  I think there are only 9 entered in that AG, so I should finish in the Top 10.    I'll be arriving with Mean Jean, my wife of 37 years, on Saturday, and our middle son, Dean, is coming in from his home in Boston to watch.  They will be wearing EN T-shirts, so say hi if you see a beautiful tall blonde and a good looking 31 year old with an awesome handlebar mustache and goatee. I hope to have a good swim, decent bike and hang on in the run.  Good racing to all.

  • Hello all,
I'm also from Cincinnati and this will be my second 70.3 this summer. I did Muncie In July. This summer has been a comeback season for me. Due to some extended illness I lost the entire OS and couldn't start training until March. Throw in a knee injury and expectations had to be readjusted. Training has been strong, but I'm struggling with long runs and could use an extra couple months of training to be on top of my game. My goal is to finish and enjoy an inaugural event.

Looking forward to seeing everybody Next week in Delaware.
