Camp Week
Coach P, I need some confirmation/clarification. So, I am in week 7 of Minimalist, 12 Weeks, Beginner session. It calls for the race rehearsal on Friday which due to work, etc. cannot do. Per the Coaches note, the suggestion is for the following if cannot do as planned.
- Do the long run, slated for Sunday, on Thursday.
- Bump the RR swim from Thursday to Friday.
- Do RR #1 (112 ride / 1 hour run) on Saturday.
- Sunday OFF to recover.
- Monday back at the regular plan.
Is this correct? Do I still do the swim and run on Wednesday?
Also, I am doing IMMD on Oct 1. A local group is putting on an open water swim event on Sept 24 (a week earlier) which includes a 3K swim. Would it be a good idea to enter a week before race?
Also, I need to miss my swim tomorrow, as I have an ear infection. Should be back Friday, anything additional beyond the run for tomorrow?

If you can't swim, can you work in some dry land strength like swim cords? Would be nice to still target the same muscles. There is swim cord guidance in the Swim section of the Wiki.
